My Designations
CRS- A Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) is a REALTOR who belongs to the
Council of Residential Specialists and has earned the right through education and
experience to use the designation after their name. Less then 4% of all REALTORS
nationwide have earned this designation.
CRB- This stands for Certified Residential Broker. It is one of the oldest and most
respected designations in the industry. It comprises of an elite group of individuals of which only 3% of all REALTORS® have met the requirements. CRB Designees are proven leaders and are among the most effective, efficient and profitable in the industry. CRB exemplifies the highest level of professional achievement in real estate brokerage management. Since 1968, the Council has awarded this prestigious designation only to REALTORS® who have met specific requirements and completed advanced professional training.
GRI- The GRI designation is a national designation delivered by the state REALTOR® associations. The 90-hour course of study meets the accreditation standards established by the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®. Upon completion of the program, students are awarded the GRI designation (Graduate REALTOR® Institute). Only members of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® may hold the GRI designation.
Member of the 1926 Circle of Excellence Platinum Level at Long Realty and I am ranked in the top 1% of all Realtors at Long Realty and nationwide. In order to reach this level, an agent must earn net commissions of $500,000 or more in a calendar year- which we did!!
It is very rare to find a Realtor that has both the CRS and CRB designations. In the greater Tucson area, there are less than 10 Realtors, including myself, that hold these 2 coveted National designations. If you want the best- contact Al LaPeter CRS, CRB, GRI.
Professional Credentials
of Sandy Kantor J.D.
The J.D. stands for “Juris Doctor”, which is a professional doctorate and indicates that I graduated from an accredited law school. Once graduated, a lawyer must pass an examination in order to be licensed to practice law. I passed two such exams, in Texas where I attended law school and later in California where I am still a member of the State Bar Association. At the time I entered law school at the University of Texas, there were very few women in my class. That changed rapidly! The experience and knowledge that I obtained as a lawyer has been helpful in many ways and adds greatly to the real estate services that I now provide to my clients. I look forward to obtaining more real estate designations to increase my knowledge and ability to serve my clients.
